Return Policy

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Smart and Sassy Looks (SSL) strives to provide you with excellent service and merchandise. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of our shipment date.  All sales are final after 14 days. All returns are subject to the following conditions:

  • All returns require an advance return authorization.
  • Please email request to CustomerService@SmartandSassyLooks.com .  Include the item name, SKU, reason for the return, and whether you want a return or exchange.
  • Smart and Sassy Looks will make a note on your account, then reply with a return authorization and instructions for the return.
  • Once a return authorization is given, the Purchaser must ship the item(s) to Smart and Sassy Looks within 5 days or the authorization is no longer valid.  Please enclose a copy of your invoice receipt with the return. We recommend insurance as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages in transit to us.
  • If a package is returned without a valid authorization within the return period, then a store credit will be given in the amount of the current sales price minus a 20% restocking fee. Packages returned after the return period and without a return authorization will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
  • All returned items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and in new condition with all original tags attached.  Item(s) must be free from odors such as perfumes, incents, smoke, and pets.  Item must be packaged in the original plastic bags or other undamaged zip lock bag in order to protect it during shipment.

The following items are considered final sales and cannot be refunded or exchanged:

  • Items purchased at a sale price of 40% off or more
  • Final sale items
  • Food products or perishable goods
  • Special, personalized, or custom orders
  • Shipping costs

Orders shipped with free shipping or flat rate shipping will have our normal shipping charge subtracted from the purchase credit.  See our Payment & Shipping policy for shipping rates.

Pettiskirts and tutu gowns are not refundable, but may be exchanged for another size.

Holiday items purchased within 15 days of the holiday are considered final sale items and cannot be refunded.  Items purchase prior to 15 days before the holiday may be returned in accordance with this policy and a store credit will be issued at the current selling price of the item being returned. 

Size exchanges or exchanges for other merchandise are treated as new orders to ensure you have the best opportunity to obtain the size you need.  Please place the new order online and note the exchange authorization in the comment section at checkout.  The exchanged item will be credited to your account after the item is returned.

Please allow up to 30 days for processing of returns.  If you have not received a refund or credit after 30 days, please contact us.

Please note, some of our products may be constructed of delicate materials or intricate details.  We are unable to accept returns on worn or washed items.  If you have an item that has shrunk, faded, or is otherwise damaged after use; and, you believe you have provided adequate care and handling, please let us know of the situation.  We will gladly inform the product manufacturer of the situation.  If the manufacturer offers any remedy, we will pass such to our customers.  If we notice a manufacturer’s products to have a continued trend of unsatisfactory workmanship, we will discontinue carrying their product lines.    

MAILING YOUR RETURN PACKAGE

After your return or exchange authorization is received, please mail your exchange or return within 5 business days to Smart and Sassy Looks, 5543 Edmondson Pike, Suite 217, Nashville, TN 37211.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Prices are subject to change. Smart and Sassy Looks offers a one-time refund to reflect a price adjustment.  Refund for price adjustments only offered on full-price merchandise within 5 days of our shipment date.  Contact CustomerService@SmartandSassyLooks.com with your order number, name, and address.  Items not purchased at full price are not eligible for a price adjustment.

We work hard to ensure the accuracy of our pricing; however, despite our efforts, pricing errors may occur.  In the event we discover an item is priced incorrectly, we will notify the customer and allow the customer to either cancel the order or adjust the payment or options accordingly.  SSL has the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed with incorrect information, including price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card or financial information processed.  If you have been charged and your order is cancelled, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit card for the cancelled amount.

PRICE MATCHING

SSL does not match prices.  However, we do want to maintain long-term customers and allow you to continue shopping where you will receive good customer service.  We will consider matching another store’s sales and promotions if we can.  To request a price match, please email the link(s), store name, brand, style, size, and color to CustomerService@SmartandSassyLooks.com and we will consider your request.

DUTY REFUNDS

Customer must follow the requirements of their respective Country’s customs laws in order to receive a refund on duties paid for an item being returned or exchanged.  Customs will likely collect duty on the new items.  For returns and exchanges provide goods and paperwork to the postal center handling your customs collection.
